Home Offices
Home Offices come in all shapes and sizes, whether it be a room set aside for a home-based business, a nook under the stairs for crafts, an alcove for bills or a computer center for all the family to use.  The office is usually a hub for activity.  In a home office environment, we need to look at the location, lighting, phone and outlet sockets, as well as the type of space you need to "get the job done" so to speak.  We design our home offices, not as standard desks and filing but as a space that can be as flexible as you need to be.  For example,  converting a living room corner into a mini-office means taking the character of the home into consideration.  Perhaps adding crown molding to give the office area a built in bookcase look and feel -In this instance a mini office can be converted to a built-in bookshelf for future owners.  The most important thing to remember when planning a home office is what you envision....not what the company wants to sell you.  We at Katie's Closets will work with your vision to make sure your 100% happy with your work space.
